About the Event

JBM Music and Retro Events bring you the North West’s hugely popular, Retro In The Park on Saturday 2nd July 2020, for a jam-packed day of absolute rave and house music classics. Flanking our main stage we have two tents, bars and plenty of food stalls. Bringing good vibes, euphoric rhythms and guaranteeing to get you stepping, oh do we have a star-studded line up for you!

Celebrating the legacy of one of the UK’s most influential nightclubs, Hacienda Classical sees the Manchester Camerata Orchestra reworking old school classics into newly crafted masterpieces. Born from the Brixton underground scene, electronic music duo Basement Jaxx, known for their classics Where’s Your Head At and Kish Kash grace the stage. The globally renowned powerhouse, David Morales, revered for his euphoric tracks Needin U and remix of Space Cowboy, will bring his energetically uplifting belters.

Joining these dance giants are the incredibly soulful vocalists Juliet Roberts and Julie McKnight, joined by the rave royalty Manchester based K-Klass, known not least for their belter Rhythm Is A Mystery. Jon Pleased Wimmin, a selector like no other and master of the dance scene also joins the mix. John Kelly, a Cream Ibiza, and Ministry of Sound regular will bring his renowned energy and skill to the stage. Rave scene pioneer and DJMAG’s World Top 20, Allister Whitehead, will make his mark on the festival. Gary Keelor, Steve Edwards, and Loveland featuring Rachael McFarlane will also bring their unique tracks and energy on 2nd July.

Wow, I needed to sit down after reading that. Look, don’t just take our word for it, Retro In The Park will leave you with smiles all day long:

“Excellent, one of my best days. Exactly what was needed after the pandemic. Great atmosphere, great music.” - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ - Skiddle review, November 2021.
